My philosophy in Dance

My philosophy in contemporary dance centers around the idea of embodiment - the concept that social norms and oppressions are not simply abstract ideas, but are deeply ingrained in the flesh and bones of the individual. Through movement, I seek to bring these embodied experiences to light, to challenge them, and ultimately to create a space for healing and transformation.

As a dancer and choreographer, I am constantly exploring the relationship between the body and society. I believe that every movement we make, every gesture we create, is a reflection of the social and cultural contexts in which we exist. Through my work, I seek to unravel these hidden meanings and to create works that challenge the norms and structures that shape our lives.

For me, dance is not just a form of artistic expression - it is a means of social critique and transformation. By exploring the ways in which social norms are embodied in our physical selves, I believe that we can begin to challenge and ultimately transcend them. Through movement, we can create a space for healing, for change, and for the emergence of new possibilities.
